Privacy Policy

My Business Card is provided by Confident With Tech. This policy explains how the app handles information when you use it.

Information You Provide

The app may store business card PINs, downloaded card content, contact card files, scanned business card images, manually entered connection details, notes, tags, folders, and reminder preferences. This information is used to provide the app features you choose to use.

Camera and Photo Library

The app uses camera access when you choose to scan a business card. It may use photo library access when you choose an existing image of a card. Images are used to create or update connection records inside the app.

Contacts

The app requests Contacts access only when you choose to export a connection to your phone contacts. The app does not read your full address book for advertising or tracking.

Notifications

The app may request notification permission so it can send follow-up reminders that you create. You can manage notification permission in iOS Settings.

Business Card Downloads

When you enter a card PIN or open a supported card link, the app downloads the matching business card package from the configured hosting service so it can display and share that card.

Tracking and Advertising

My Business Card does not use third-party advertising tracking, and we do not sell your personal information.

Storage

App data is stored on your device. Depending on your device settings and app configuration, some data may be included in normal Apple device backups or iCloud backup behaviour.

Deleting Data

You can delete business cards and connections inside the app. You can also remove the app from your device to delete locally stored app data, subject to your Apple backup settings.

Children

The app is intended for business and professional use. It is not directed at children.
